Three Reasons Why You Need a VA

Three Reasons Why You Need a VA

As a busy professional you may have started out doing most if not all of your own administrative work. In the beginning this was okay, but as time has moved on, finding time to do those admin tasks has probably become more difficult. So, you end up doing them after hours. Now, instead of enjoying your evenings and weekends you may find yourself still working at your computer – checking emails, managing your calendar, and creating presentations. All the behind-the-scenes things that need to be done in order for you to do your work effectively.

Maybe it’s time to consider outsourcing your admin work to a professional Virtual Assistant; someone you can confidently delegate these tasks to knowing they’ll be taken care of. A Virtual Assistant or VA can be an invaluable asset for individuals, businesses, and organizations that need a sensible solution to their administrative challenge. Here are 3 reasons why a VA might be the solution for you.

Time Management and Productivity

By outsourcing admin tasks to your VA, you free up your time to concentrate on your work.  Your VA can take over those time-consuming and repetitive tasks, like email management, appointment scheduling, data entry, and research, allowing you to focus on a bigger picture. Your VA can also multitask, which can significantly improve overall productivity.

Cost Efficiency

Partnering with a Virtual Assistant is much more cost-effective than hiring an employee. You don’t have to provide office space and equipment, pay benefits, taxes, or insurance. VA’s are often paid on an hourly or project basis, so you only pay for the work that is performed, making it easier to manage your budget. All this can significantly reduce your overhead.

Specialized Skills and Expertise

You can hire VA with specific expertise in areas like general admin support, social media management, graphic design, content writing, or bookkeeping.

If you require specialized skills for a short-term project or occasional tasks, you can hire a Virtual Assistant with the specific expertise you need without the commitment of a full-time employee.

An experienced Virtual Assistant can enhance your productivity, save you time and money, and provide a diverse set of skills and expertise. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, small business owner, or an executive in a non-profit organization, a Virtual Assistant can be a valuable resource to help you achieve your goals.

19 Years In Business!

I find it hard to believe, but I have been a Virtual Assistant for over 19 years now. And throughout this time, I’ve learned so much about what it takes to work remotely with clients. It’s truly a unique experience – and I love it. I have always been an administrative support professional, but once I discovered the world of Virtual Assistance, I knew I didn’t want to work a traditional 9 to 5 office job anymore. Working online was too much fun. Technology made it fun for me. But the best part of it all has been the people I’ve met and worked with over these 19 years. I can honestly say my clients have been the best part of this journey.

In the world of Virtual Assistance, a lot depends on relationships. Building and maintaining great VA/Client relationships is crucial, but it’s not difficult. It’s really about understanding the needs and expectations of my client and then doing everything I can to ensure those needs and expectations are met. This has always been my goal and has been essential in achieving long-term success.

Collaborating with various clients over the years has benefited me in ways I never imagined. I’ve been fortunate to work with people from all over the United States and beyond. It’s given me freedom, independence, flexibility, and countless opportunities to develop my professional skills. In the last 18 months, I earned certifications in Social Media Management and Online Business Management. The impetus for pursuing these tracks was, as always, providing better service for my clients.

Through it all, I have found enormous satisfaction in knowing I’ve played a significant role in supporting many clients in many ways over the years. Now I look forward to continuing to do the work that I love.

Thank you to everyone!

Get Ahead Of The Game

It’s only February, but are you feeling like it’s already June and that New Year feeling is long gone? Are you feeling like nothing has changed since last year?

We all enter the new year with plans to shake things up, make a fresh start. We’re going to do more, get more clients, increase our profits and expand our businesses. But most often we find ourselves doing the same things we did at the end of last year. Often, it’s because business owners wear too many hats!

If you spend a lot of your time doing the administrative work that’s required to keep your business running, you’re not using your time as efficiently as you could. I often find this to be true of business owners who started out on their own and built successful businesses. But they can’t expand because now, 5, 10 or even 15 years later, they’re still trying to do everything themselves. Aside from the day-to-day running of the business, they’re also running the office – being their own admin.

Sir William Osler, a Canadian physician and one of the founders of Johns Hopkins Hospital said, “A physician who treats himself has a fool for a patient.” I’m reminded of this sometimes when I see busy people struggling to do everything themselves, including admin work. I don’t think of them as fools, of course, just people who are accustomed to doing it all. And in doing it all, things can become overwhelming, disorganized, delayed and sometimes lost or even forgotten. You can even lose business.

My job, as your Virtual Assistant, is to help you organize and manage your back office so that you can focus on the bigger picture. Over time, as you start handing tasks over to me, your calendar, your inbox, CRM systems, document production and more – you’ll discover a new freedom that will allow you to actually grow your business.

Why don’t you give me a call at 443-557-8187 and let’s have a chat about how Virtual Admin Services can come to your rescue.  I’ll be happy to tell you all the ways I can support you and your business.

Virtual Assistants: The Superior Choice Over Traditional Employees

In today’s fast-paced business landscape, efficiency and cost-effectiveness are more important than ever. When it comes to administrative support, many businesses and organizations have chosen Virtual Assistance for administrative and business support services. ‘Why is that?’ you might ask. Over time, VAs have proven to be much more cost-positive and efficient than traditional employees.

I recently looked at an article I wrote a few years ago about the advantages of working with a Virtual Assistant. I realize now that all of those advantages I outlined in 2019 are the same today. To me this proves that Virtual Assistance is still the right choice for many who need a reliable alternative to traditional on-site support. The ability to work remotely and deliver premium services and results are what makes VAs stand out.

So, I thought we’d take another quick look at why working with a professional Virtual Assistant still makes so much sense for so many.

  • SAVINGS–Often business owners and organizations don’t have the budget, space or workload to justify a full time, on-site administrative employee. Since VAs are independent contractors, you don’t have to worry about things like payroll, benefits or taxes.
  • EXPERIENCE – Most VAs are highly skilled, experienced, business owners with resources already in place so you don’t have to worry about providing office space, furniture and equipment. VAs are ready to get started.
  • MORE SAVINGS – Save more money by paying only for the time you need. If you only need 10 hours a week that’s all you pay for.  5 hours this week?  15 hours next week? VA’s offer you the flexibility you need.
  • RELATIONSHIPS – Develop a one-on-one relationship with your VA who quickly becomes your right hand; someone who will get to know you and your business and understand your business goals.
  • PRODUCTIVITY – Gain more time and freedom to fully focus on your business and income building and stop spending your valuable time doing administrative work.

So, as it was 5 years ago, it is today even more so. Virtual Assistants offer the most practical solution for businesses and organizations seeking administrative support. With the ability to pay only for what you need, access specialized skills, and enjoy flexibility and scalability, VAs provide a cost-effective alternative to hiring an employee. If you’re looking for ways to streamline your administrative operations while maximizing cost efficiency, talk to a professional Virtual Assistant today.
